It is not peanuts, add 2.66 mill per year to whatever the C's were
offering Mercer and the C's could have negotiated a deal.

Dee's contract was negotiated by M.L.Carr. ML did negotiate Dana, Minor

I disagree on that one.

Nobody is pointing a gun at Pitino's head and forcing him to trade.
Mercer could have played one more year before his rookie contract
expires.

Fortson is a good rebounder but is not a good one-on-one defender.
Against centers he might be OK but he lacks quickness against PF's.

I have heard that spin before what is he now? 
jump shot away from being an all star
or a Karl Malone type body away from being a Malone clone.

I had no interest in Sacramento Kings but Petrie is doing a great job
