Damon Jones

People have wondered what I and a few others like about Damon Jones. Other 
than the obvious improvement in defense over Anderson and Barros, it boils 
down to 1 simple thing. Jones will make the BASIC pass. Instead of trying to 
make the great pass or great play, he will make the basic pass, whether it up 
the side to a guy ahead of him on the break or to the pick guy on the pick 
and roll. Neither Barros nor Anderson will do this much as they are primarily 
looking to score themselves. Jones won't be making SportsCenter because he 
just doesn't have the talent. However, his style is much more conducive to 
team play, something this team lacks severely. His contribution won't show up 
much on the stats, kindof the way V's stats don't show the many things he 
blocks off or shields the opposing team's centers. BTW, why was V out of the 
game in the last two minutes? Geiger overpowered Battie on a free throw for a 
offensive rebound...
