Potapenko & Cowens

Is Potapenko resembling Dave Cowens in some respects? Does he have
Mourning's energy and desire? Good things are happening when he touches the
ball more and more. With a good camp this fall and some better ball
handling skills he may be up to the task of carbon copying big Red.
Rebounding, outlet passing and defense come to mind with Cowens. He could
score and was a big body to contend with. 

Some good things came out of the bad season, Potapenko and Pierce. I feel
more confident about next season already. Hope Walker and Mercer (if he
stays) see we have other worthwhile options developing. They won't have to
go 8-21 every nite.
