that they would seriously consider leaving a Laker team that was without
West. One source close to the situation said that Bryant made a point to
call Buss himself before the lockout to reiterate his support for West."

Holy Christ! Can you imagine the nerve of that Bryant kid?!? He actually
called the owner and told him what he thought! What a punk! The nerve of
that kid, playing owner like that! And that stiff O'Neal. He should just
shut-up and practice his free throws. I wouldn't want his kind on the
Celtics. Both of them...punks. Where's Bob Ryan? Just another example of
these young kids out of control.
