The players may say this, but they are doing everything they can to make 
sure it doesn't happen.  They must understand that uncontrolled top end 
salaries = relatively low minimum salary and virtually no "middle 
class".  The players support better pay for the average and lower paid 
players as long as it comes out of the owners' pockets and not at the 
expense of their $100,000,000 contracts.
