Lockout news from Miami

Reported on Hank Goldberg's talk radio show that the owners who now are
totally in the drivers seat, probably will not start the season until
the NBC contract kicks in with the first scheduled TV game which is
scheduled sometime mid January. In this way they will not have to
compensate NBC for any missed games nor pay the players until their
January 15 payment. BRILLIANT! He also said in a sarcastic way to watch
all the poor, poverty stricken players when they are in Las Vegas to see
if they will be at the tables or at the negotiations. His sarcastic
guess is you probably wont be able to get a spot at the crap table. By
the way as an aside and FYI, Rodman is barred from at least 4 casinos
for poor behavior and has at least 2 lawsuits pending against him by
casino workers.
	Let us all look at the bright side and watch as these mentally
challenged players continue their public relations assault on the fan
base. They already started with the following classic examples.
	A. Ewing not able to get along on his $18 mill a year. Where can I send
a donation?
	B. Barkley"s "Who cares what the fans think" statement.
	C. Tim Hardaway complaining about Stern"s salary after being seen in a
South Beach night club buying bottles of Champagne for his buddies and
his Bimbo"s. He appeared really desperate for his money.
	D. Horry of towel throwing(Ainge)fame complaining that the Judges
decision was due to pressure put on him by the owners due to the
Sprewell decision. This guy must have gone to the same school as
Barkley!
	E. Shaq choking and squeezing a college girl at Disney World in Orlando
after she wouldn't go with him at which time it was reported that he
turned to, I think it was Horace Grant and came out with the now classic
statement "Lets go find a couple of white girls instead". I know for
sure he wasn"t with Penny because it is reported that they have an
intense dislike for each other. By the way he was arrested on
misdemeanor assault charges. It seems he has fallen on hard times since
he obviously cannot afford a hooker to be his squeeze when he is in Fla.
	I personally can't wait for the next idiot to open his mouth and insert
foot.
