Radja

I can't really remember who said it, but that's not the point.
The point is that somebody said that Dino shouldn't have
left the NBA and he should have been our veteran this year.

Dino did put up great numbers in his first few year at Boston,
actually he was pretty much the better scorer and the rebounder
on the whole team. However it showed that he can get injured
pretty quick, I haven't seen much of him during those years.
He failed the physical for the 76ers, and later on he got cut.

Dino plays in Europe at the moment and I got to see him play for
the Croation national team against my home country national team,
The Netherlands. (without Rick Smits ofcourse). Well, Dino had to
play guys like Mike Nahar and Geert Hammink.

Mike Nahar plays for one of best teams in Europe for the last few
years, he was slam-dunk champion in Portugal (whatever...) and
he almost got drafted by Cleveland when he came out of college
about 3 or 4 years ago. He's a good player but definitely not a
NBA type of player. (He used to play in my hometown when
he was in high school).

Geert Hammink played back-up center at LSU behind Shaq. So
Orlando drafted him to be a back-up behind Shaq again at Orlando.
What happened is that Hammink turned out to be the 3rd or maybe
4th center on the team. Played a total of like 3 minutes NBA ball.
He went to Golden State I believe, never played there and went
back to Europe.

Dino Radja was putting up good number against them, about 28 points
and maybe 12 or so rebounds. But those guys can't play a single minute
in the NBA. I doubt if Radja could be very effective in the NBA.
