Dallas is the problem

I think the Clips will take Olowokandi and settle all the blockbuster trade
possibilities.  Dallas will be the next big questionmark.  They like Hughes
big time (altho' he's a Finley clone), question Jamison's shooting skills and
'tweener status, and would like to take Nowitzki (the Dallas Cowboys
also have a penchant for taking unusual, a la longshot, choices in the
first round.  It's the "I'm smarter than you" complex down there.)  I'm not
questioning the boy's talent as much as Dallas' need for a right now
contributor.  They already have three seven foot small forwards.
Anyway, Dallas is likely, as was reported on ESPN, to trade w the Bucks
for #9 and #19, take Dirk Nowitzki, and then have another shot at it with
#19.

If so, that pretty well blows our shot at trading up,  unless we do a
deal with the Kings.  I suspect we will trade down, sending Knight or
Barros for two picks from either Orlando or Houston.  And take Sesay
and Patterson (which one I don't know).  Just a wild guess.
