Now it's Mercer for #2

Got this off:

"The unpredictable Los Angeles Clippers continue to keep everybody guessing
as they try to decide if bigger is indeed better, but that hasn't lessened
the intrigue surrounding the Vancouver Grizzlies' No. 2 slot in Wednesday's
NBA draft. While the Clippers, with the first pick, are reportedly still
toying with the idea of taking seven-foot centre Michael Olowokandi and not
point guard Mike Bibby, word is the Boston Celtics, who are keen to upgrade
their pivot position, had Olowokandi in for a late workout on Friday. Could
old friends Stu Jackson, the Grizzlies' general manager, and Rick Pitino,
the Boston Celtics' boss, be preparing to swap draft positions? The Celtics
sit at No. 10, further back than the Grizzlies had said they wanted to
drop. But is there a package, perhaps involving shooting guard Ron Mercer,
that could get Vancouver thinking? Toronto, Denver and Philadelphia have
all made inquiries. The Orlando Magic, with three first-round picks and a
veteran shooting guard in Nick Anderson who Vancouver coach Brian Hill
covets, could also be in the mix. But most of the speculation centres on
the Raptors, who own the fourth pick, and may be willing to give up guard
Doug Christie in some kind of deal."

This is the only time I've seen a Vancouver source mention "the trade" with
the Celtics. Ron Mercer...Antoine Walker....everybody's gone.
