Re: Question for you

Boston won games 2, 4, 5 and 7 in the '84 finals. 2 and 4 were OT wins.
The Celts tied the series 2-2 by winning in LA, then came home to take a 3-2
series lead, ultimately winning in seven.

The next year, the same scenario developed, with the Celts tying the series
by winning game 4 in LA on a Dennis Johnson buzzer shot. However, that was
the first year of the 2-3-2 format, and LA recovered because they had game 5
at home. The Lakers won that game to regain momentum, and finished the
series in six games. Thus, my dislike for that format.

The last time the Celts came from down 3-1 to win a series was 1981 vs.
Philly.
