FWIW, I'm not saying you were exceptionally abusive to him and agree with
those that have suggested that he in some degree 'asks' for it, but as for
the ad hominem attacks being half the fun -that's a matter of taste. To some
they aren't at all fun. And they just go on and on and on, getting more and
more personal.
