Re: 1998 N.B.A. Draft Prospects
:
A couple of surprises for me on this list. First is TCU standout Lee
Nailon. Lee played for Randy Smithson his freshman year at Butler Co
Community College. Lee had a real attitude problem and ended up quiting
the team. I had a friend who with him on the team and always told me
that Lee would go pro someday. The next year he came back to play for
Butler under their new coach Steve Eck. Steve Eck was the former Wichita
Southeast high coach and concidentally coached another player on the list
Korleone Young. Young was one of the top five players in Parade's top
high school basketball players. Amazingly he was only a junior in high
school. Everyone thought Kobe was so talented by skipping college,
Korleone will probably out play most of the College seniors on the list.
I'll predict he will be the steal of the in the draft.
