Re: #1- Pepper Watch
Hi Warwick. I just want to add my opinions and views about our Pepper kid.
Well, as I always say, I love watching Aussie basketball on cable and I am
just amazed on the huge amount of talent and skills they showcase. As I see
now, Pepper boy is so raw and I still doubt that he will end up in any NBA
lineup. Nothin personal though. It's just that I see a lot more talent and
skills on other Aussie players that could??? really or possibly at least be
given a chance to play on an NBa team.
I see players named: Sam Mckinnon, Mark Bradtke, Drmic...these aussies are
more skilled and has better chances at the best level league. I am not
saying that they would end up in the NBA but just the words " may have a
better chance" would fit in better than Pepper. Big centers are hard to
find but if I have a choice between Pepper and US grown college centers, I
would still choose the latter( ala Lorenzo Coleman, Koul, and the likes).
One last thing, why doesn't any NBA team give Andrew Gaze a chance to play
in the league. Here's a guy who could really shoot the hell out of anybody
and this player's in a mold of a Rex Chapman that has defense. Does he have
an attitude? Is he commanding a gigantic salary no team could give? I
really can't understand why he couldn't land a job in the NBA? Warwick,
maybe you could answer my questions about Gaze. TY.
