Walker's 49

Someone asked it how Walker scored all his points and what his teammates
were doing meanwhile.

He dominated the ball almost end to end. I didn't see the first half, but
that was the case in the second half. He usually got the defensive rebound
and although he gave the ball up a lot to a teammate, he usually got the
ball back on the offensive end. He took some bad shots, but much of his
scoring in the fourth quarter was drives to the hoop. I remember 2 or 3
threes which were well-timed (brought the C's within 5 pts at one point).

I judge the entertainment value of a game based on how many "oh my...did
you see THAT?s" and high fives my husband and I exchange. There were quite
a few with Walker in the second half. He had one pretty crossover move that
fooled me too! It almost looked like he had stopped to make a jumpshot and
then kept driving leaving the defender with his mouth open and behind the
play. My husband thinks he might have carried the ball, but hey, this is
the NBA...these things fly.

What is wrong with Travis Knight? He seems to have lost all confidence and
energy. It's weird. He looks uncomfortable on the court. That's the only
way I can describe it. His face looks like he has a permanent case of
indigestion with a dose of "what the hell" thrown in for good measure. I
hope it's just a temporary slump.

Pervis is hurt. He stepped on the back of someone's foot. I've done that.
It hurts. He had to be helped off by Roy Rogers and the trainer and he put
no weight on his foot. My husband said, "that looks bad, maybe two weeks."
To which I replied: "this is the new Celtic warrior (Pitino's word for
Pervis)....double that and add a few."
