Boston Celtics (16-14) at Chicago Bulls (22-10), 8:30 p.m.
Boston stunned the Bulls with a home win in the season opener,
ending an 11-game losing streak against Chicago. The series got back
to normal when they met in Boston in early December, as the Bulls won
by 10. Chicago has won 12 of the last 13 battles.
Boston already has one win more than it did all of last season,
thanks to a two-game winning streak and three wins in its last four
games. That has the Celtics two games above .500 for the year. The
Celtics have not been too bad on the road, going 5-8.
The Bulls are rolling again, at an NBA-best 16-1 as the host.
They have won 12 in a row at home, every game since falling to the
Wizards on November 22. Chicago has an overall two-game winning streak
and has taken 10 of the past 11 games.

NBA Preview (Boston-Chicago)
Boston (16-14) at Chicago (22-10) 8:30 pm EST
In what may be the most unlikely of brewing rivalries in the
NBA, the Boston Celtics look for their third straight victory
when they travel to Chicago to face the Bulls, who have won
12 in a row at home.
The seeds were planted in the season opener for both teams
when the Celtics shocked the Bulls with a 92-85 victory at the
FleetCenter. Antoine Walker burned Chicago for 31 points in
coach Rick Pitino's Boston debut.
Apparently, the Celtics were a bit too exuberant for Chicago's
taste. When the Bulls returned to Boston on December 3rd,
fired-up Chicago got 29 points from Michael Jordan and 17
rebounds from Dennis Rodman in a 97-87 victory. Several Chicago
players, including Jordan, deemed it payback for the Celtics'
trash-talking, high-fiving win in the opener.
Both clubs have recently been playing some of their best
basketball of the season.
Walker scored a season-high 32 points and grabbed 10
rebounds and the Celtics moved two games over .500 for the
first time in more than four years with a 106-99 victory over the
Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.
The Celtics will be trying to end a six-game losing streak
at the United Center.
Jordan had 34 points, nine rebounds and nine assists and
the Bulls held the Detroit Pistons scoreless for the final 3 1/2
minutes in a 105-96 victory Sunday, their 10th win in 11 games.
Despite the Celtics' victory in the opener, Chicago has won
12 of its last 13 games against Boston.
