Good news for the soaring celts.

Peter Vescey the rumor-monger in his NY Post articles reports that Pitino
opted out of the three way trade with Miami and Chicago after learning of
Ike Austin's value in the open Market. Ike is slated to be worth 55-60 mill
over 7 years. He also reports that Billups' stock has increased dramatically
over the last few weeks as the Celts' win column jumped to 16 which is
better than last season's total. I personally would still deal Billups if
the right player comes along. The following players may be dealt between now
and Feb as their teams try and recover some value:

Joe Smith - Golden State
Brent Berry - Los Angeles Clippers
Antonio McDyess - Suns don't want to resign him to a large contract and may
try to deal him to recover the two first round draft picks.
Damon Stoudamire - Toronto Raptors
Allen Iverson - Philadelphia 76ers <It is rumored that Pat Croce wants to
breakup the team and start from scratch once again>
Marcus Camby - Toronto Raptors

Out of the above both McDyess and Joe Smith could be of interest to the
celtics. What do you all think?
