I think that if the Celtics offered Michael Stewart a reasonable
contract they'd have enough left over to get Rick to a good sized
contract. But then again, the Lakers will probably over pay him slightly
to keep his services away from any other team (re: Horry last season).
It'd be an awesome lineup of this..
C- Stewart DeClercq Knight Ellison
PF- Walker McCarty DeClercq Knight
SF- Fox McCarty Bowen Minor Jones
SG- Mercer Bowen Barros Minor Jones
PG- Anderson Barros Edney
With the draft pick + Travis Knight and either Minor or Jones traded for
someone who could help the Celtics would look fantastic. Only a pipe
dream which could happen depending how much the Lakers are willing to
pay Rick.
