And he did not care for the way he was treated when he left the Cs. With
some justice. No, not the fact that he was renounced per se. But that he was
renounced after reaching a verbal agreement on a new contract with them, and
first heard about the renunciation while getting a haircut for the press
conference that afternoon that was *supposed* to be for an announcement of
that new contract. Since then, I've heard Michael Holley say that the Cs
screwed up and didn't think they had to renounce Fox to sign Knight, only
finding out that they did at the last minute that afternoon. Which somewhat
explains things from their perspective in how they handled Fox's departure,
but I doubt if it altogether washed that bad taste out of his mouth.
