Thoughts

hi everyone,

	havn't written here in a while but i just wanted to share my
thoughts... feel free to comment, bash, exhort... whatever.
	chauncey is a great talent... no doubt... but the guy had some
major nba flaws... flaws that are hard to change.  1)  the guy can't
finish close to the hoop... he basically jumps horizontally.. not
vertically... that is a problem in this league unless you are karl malone!
2)  the guy has a funny set shot (free throws with no leg action?) (he
jumps... but not that much)... sure
it works but only if you have the passing skills of stockton, kidd, etc.,
etc..... then the defense backs off so you can take it... if you're going
to be a penetrator you need to be able to pull up and shoot that j
(iverson, marbury, damon, timmy... even kenny) with
some leg umph... he's no gifted passer so...  3)  he was not born a point
guard... at least i don't think and i could be wrong... point guards and
centers are born or made early... you can't teach it... just got to have
it... yeah david wesley, david wesley... he's a great player... but a
player and a point guard are different entities... in some offenses you
can have a player playing the point... but rick wants a point (he was one
himself) and kenny... he's a point.
