Re: Question

You don't have to buy my statement--it's just my opinion. But there are
two issues here. Concerning customer service, I'd also like to be able
to e-mail the Celtics and tell them that, although I live just 70 miles
from the Fleet Center, I can't get Ch. 68 on either cable or antenna.
So I agree with you there. But on the other hand, a Celtics e-mail
address might be flooded with messages such as "Trade Pervis for Duncan"
and "Boston sucks, signed, a 12-year-old Lakers fan." It could become a
cyberspace version of talk radio, and since Pitino calls talk radio "the
fellowship of the miserable," I don't see the franchise rushing to offer
e-mail access.

I looked at NBA.com. You can send e-mail to the league office by
visiting http://www.nba.com/Contact/index.html There is a form that
you can complete to submit questions, comments, etc. (but only using the
format they want to receive). Perhaps it would be worthwhile to notify
the league about the Ch. 68 problem.

For the record, and as a comparison, I checked some team home pages that
are within NBA.com. The Bulls, Spurs and Sonics all had the same type
of e-mail form. The Knicks, Lakers and Heat did not offer it.
