It is an automatic reply (thur, right?). Well, everytime he gets a message
the auto-reply feature does its job. Everytime someone writes to the mailing
list, it will get sent to all recipients of the list. Since Steve is a
subscriber, he gets the messages which will invoke the auto-reply.
