RE: Is Billups leaving?



I agree this is a bogus rumor(hopefully)  Delk is not a point guard.  If =
we can move Brown or minor for him maybe, but not Billups.  I also feel =
uncomfortable trying to win in the NBA with too many college players =
form the same team.

Did Boston Globe really report this ? When, I have seen posts in =
newsgroups
conjecturing about aquiring Delk but nothing more than that. In fact it
technically shouldn't take Billups to aquire Delk.
Delk is hardly getting any playing time behind Wesley. Unless there is a
threeway deal which brings both Derek Anderson and Tony Delk, I don't =
see
Billups leaving.

Where in Globe did you read this ? because I too read yesterday's Globe =
but
don't recall reading anything about any trade except for the perfunctory =
"we
need to move some of the players before the roster cuts take effect". -
