Pitino on current C's performance:

It is going to take us a good month and a half
               to maybe two months," Pitino said. 

               "At that point, I think you'll start to see the
               points increase and the style enhanced as our
               guys get more comfortable." 

               Many of us remember Pitino's first-year Knicks.
               Out of the box, they were flat-out ugly.
               Turnovers. Missed shots. Fouls. Their idea was
               to simply stay in the game until the final five
               minutes and hope the other team blows it. 

               Pitino said his Knicks team had more talent.
               "We had Patrick Ewing," he said. 

               "You take Patrick Ewing off that team and you
               have this Celtics team. That team had more
               talent. This team has better shooters." 

               We just haven't seen it yet. Pitino promises we
               will.
