Well said. And why should anyone believe Peter Vecsey? He did not
attribute the statement to a specific source; therefore, his scenario is
just a rumor. On the other hand, last month, I posted a report from the
Providence Journal by Bill Reynolds (Pitino's book co-author). Pitino
told him the Celts had turned down a trade of Walker and Barros for
Smith and BJ Armstrong. Walker has just been named co-captain, which
means to me that he's not going anywhere.
