Walker and Pitino

Guys (which to me is an interfaith and intrasex term), most of us never
even dreamed of taking our 9th pick last summer and see it turn into a
6'9" pf/sf who would average 16, 9, and 4, while playing almost every
game and flashing a great personality.  So, I think we're a little quick to
harp on a few statements of discontent.  Walker went from a national
championship team with a top coach to the Celtics, after all.  I hope he's
not entirely happy at this point.

Pitino has the personality to be like Riley, whose ability I questioned with
the Lakers, but no more after what he's done with Miami.  Pitino may not
be any better than a few other college coaches, but he will be in the
front rank of pros very soon--meaning Riley, Jackson, Wilkens, Sloan,
wow!  it's a short list.

Enough!  Keep calm.  The next few years may make the last few worth
