Re: Celtics fans, the time has come

I enjoy reading everyones posts about what they think of the
Celtics. I am generally quiet, but decided I needed to give my
2 cents....

1. I read the article in the globe about BIRD. My first reaction
was "ML, what the heck are you doing?" There is LB basically
saying he wants to be move involved with the Celtics NOW. What
is he waiting for?? I know I do not hear what is going on in
ML's office (boy, do I wish I were a fly on the wall when he is
on the phone) but I wonder what he is waiting for. It sounds
like BIRD will go somewhere else if the C's don't get with it!
I think that would be disastrous to the C's organization
(besides me being crushed).

2. I think the general consensus is that ML is a good motivator,
but a lousy coach. What do you think about ML being an
assitant coach? The players seem to respect him, and that has
to count for something.

3. I am all for any type of campaign. I think something needs
to be done. Maybe we (folks on the C's list) can shake some
heads in beantown.
