Re: Pepper is no good!!!



I read that teams are selecting players only to renounce their rights as
Chicago did with Travis Knight.  One source expected Houston to do this
with Rodric Rhodes, their major reach in the first round.  It stated
Houston wanted Jason Lawson, but wanted him to spend a year in Europe ,
kind of a triple A, he wasn't interested.  This wouldn't be a bad time for
the NBA to form some sort of relationship with the CBA as a farm system,
which is what it serves as now in some ways.  It would help bring
basketball to some smaller markets.  Minor league baseball has boomed in
So. California as a cheap form of family entertainment.
