Are athletes more violent? I am no psychologist or sociologist, but my instinct tells me that athletes could be more prone to violent behavior than non-athletes. I say this because a highly competitive athlete expresses him(her)self physically in his sport. I would guess that physical expression would transfer in other aspects of their lives. - - tom
