Kukoc vs Radja?

I know that there are many things that vary between Kukoc and Radja, but
why is it that Kukoc has found a home and Radja did not? Was it
coaching, attitude etc.? I know that Jordan and Pippen are two
differences, so set those aside. Kukoc's talent does not appear to be
superior. He plays defense just as poorly, and his scoring is not
superior.

Did we make a mistake to let him go? Could Pitino have salvaged him?
Oh well, does anyone even care to analyze these questions?

I would have to say that Kukoc has made it because of his versatility. He is
about the same size as Radja...but he is mobile, and can drain the outside
shot. He is not one dimensional like Radja. On the offensive end he creates
defensive night mares for the opposing team due to his size in the post(not
to mention quickness there), and his outside range. Radja was a prototypical
post player, with no defensive skills. It also helps that Kukoc is on Bulls
team that hides players weaknesses well. But I would say the versatility and
outside shot has been a plus for him.
