Read MBA by Red Auerbach. Obviously having players in your organization who
have worked hard, improved, and shown loyalty, have intangible qualities that
cannot be reproduced on a stat sheet. Fox held this team together through a
horrible season and he improved as a player. These qualities are
irreplaceable; these vets give the younger players a role model to foster
there talents. Fox signed the first 1st round contract his rookie year, made
all-rookie team, was a close friend of Reggie Lewis, improved every year he
was on the team, and was a great captain. He can pass, shoot, play defense,
hit free throws, rebound, and has good athletisism. He's better than Ceballos,
Walt Williams, Clarence Wetherspoon, or that guy from Utah.
Bottom-line is if you don't show loyalty, you will never get it back. Fox
should be reacquired by the team. And Pitino should know about it. Besides
Eric Williams cannot play the 3 spot all by himself.
