     If we could possibly get Detroit to take a combination of Barros, 
     Minor &/or Ellison, then it would make sense for us to pull the 
     trigger.  Thorpe isn't THE answer, but he's a good player with a good 
     work ethic, and he's certainly been around long enough to provide a 
     veteran influence on a team which, by rights, should still be playing 
     in the NCAA.  If it becomes a question of giving up just about anyone 
     else (with the possible exception of Dee), I don't think it'd be in 
     the C's interest.  Although, if they want to pick up Dino off waivers 
     first...
