RE: Needs

Since there is no big hurry to be a contender, we're obviously a team =
that needs a lot, I don't think we need to force Antoinne Walker to play =
the 4.  In my opinion, he is best suited to be a 3, he has good range =
and can handle the rock well for a player his size.  I've not seen the =
C's play much this year, but I did see him play at Kentucky a lot and =
this is from where I draw my opinion.

We should look at getting the most of our players that we have now, =
keeping those who are productive, and draft/trade to fill the remaining =
holes.

I think Walker can definately be the power forward we need.  The guy =
just
turned 20, and is not completely filled out.  Most players bulk up a lot
in the early 20s.  As to power rebounding, the guy has been pulling down
roughly 10 boards a game over the past month and a half.  He is using =
pure
atleticism (including power) to outrebound most anyone he goes up =
against
when playing power forward, and he has been holding his own on the =
boards
against real centers.

As to Tim Thomas - he really has not been playing that well since the
beginning of the season, and I'd be a little worried about taking him =
with
our best pick if he did go pro. =20

Finally, Williams showed some of his real potential last night.  He did =
a
good job on Joe Smith for a while, scored at will, and harassed everyone
on defense.  His steals were almost all anticipation, footwork, and good
hands.

Also, I've been saying this since rookie camp, but Szabo has potential.
He is very athletic for a 6'10 to 6'11 player and has great touch.  His
only weaknesses are lack of bulk and a bad foot which limits the amount =
of
time he can run. Otherwise, he'd be a decent 8th or 9th man in the
rotation (as a forward though, not a center).  He keeps surprising =
oposing
players with how high (and how quickly) he can jump.  He'll never be a
star, but he has a great combination of skills for a running team.
