Dino

Here's the bad news

- ------------------------------------------------------------------------
BOSTON -- Boston Celtics forward Dino Radja, the team's leading rebounder
and shot-blocker and second-highest scorer, will have surgery on his left
kneecap that will likely end his season.

Radja will undergo arthroscopic surgery Wednesday morning at New England
Baptist Hospital. Team physician Dr. Arnold Scheller will repair an
osteochondral defect of Radja's left patella. The recovery period is
expected to be 3-4 months, so Radja is not likely to return to action this
year.

The 6-foot-11 Radja injured his leg Thursday night in a game at Detroit.

Will this free up any cap room for Brian Williams for a 1/2 year tryout ?
