David, I definitely approve of a Fox or Williams for Gill trade, but
would not put Gill even in the top 5 guards in the league, maybe around
the top 10. I do think getting rid of a small forward and loosening the
log jam, and landing a good 2 guard would be a positive change. Kerry
Kittles & Iverson have been the best rookies I have seen this year, so Gill
is expendable. As others have stated, Duncan is not guaranteed, and the
other top selections Fortson, Mercer, Van Horn, Tim Thomas, all seem to fit
the small forward role, so we better prepare just in case, or will we add
to the SF log jam, make a reach for a center or point, or trade down ? I
expect a lot of trade offers for our picks.

I also read an interesting piece on Don Nelson's legacy in Golden State &
the talent he couldn't work with like Gatling, Seikaly, Gugliotta,
Richmond, Hardaway, Webber, all former Warriors that lead there teams in
scoring.
