Trivia: Hawkins Injury/Zaid Abdul Aziz

Michael Hawkins separated his shoulder. Faced with either re-signing him to
another 10-day contract or cutting him, the Celts are leaning toward
cutting him. If so, Hawkins would have never played a home game as a
Celtic. He would join the immortal Zaid Abdul Aziz (formerly Don Smith),
who played with the C's in the '78-'79 on a ten-dayer on a West Coast road
swing, as the only C's to have never played a home game at the Boston
Garden (oops,  Boston Garden/Fleet Center).
