Boston Celtics (13-13) at Los Angeles Lakers (22-6), 9:30 p.m.

The Celtics and Lakers meet for the second and  final  time  this
season.  Los Angeles captured the first game, 118-103, on
November 26, at the FleetCenter. Boston leads the all-time
series, 89-69,  although the Lakers have won the last two meetings.

Boston's four-game win streak came to an end on  Friday
when  it lost  101-86 at San Antonio. The Celtics are just 3-7
on the road this season.

Los Angeles has won four straight games, including Friday's
118-114  win  over  the Clippers. The Lakers are 11-1 at
the Great Western Forum.  Los Angeles is 5-4 against Eastern
Conference opponents.

The Los Angeles Lakers go after their fifth straight victory
tonight when they host the Boston Celtics.

With a 22-6 record, the Lakers are tied with the Seattle
SuperSonics atop the Pacific Division for the best mark
in the league. Los Angeles has been winning despite the
absence of center Shaquille O'Neal, going 12-6 without
the injured All-Star.

Nick Van Exel had 30 points and 12 assists and Rick Fox
added 20 points, including five straight in overtime, as the
Lakers edged the Los Angeles Clippers, 118-114, on Friday.

Boston had its four-game winning streak snapped at San
Antonio on Friday with a 101-86 loss against the Spurs.
Antoine Walker scored 21 points in the defeat.

The Celtics, who already have 13 victories, did not win their
14th game last season until April 11th. They had a record of
14-64 at that point.

Los Angeles captured a 118-103 win in Boston on November 26th.
