McCarty is a sparkplug no doubt about that, but does he really make us any 
better ?  All the complaints about Eric Williams were he was a 3 who could 
not shoot the jumper.  McCarty is no different.  He has never had a good 
outisde game.  E.W.  was actually a better offensive threat IMO.  Does he 
fit in Pitino's system ?  Definitely, he is like the energizer bunny he 
runs & runs & runs,  and he has a good attitude, but his game is wild and a 
roller coaster form one night to the next.   We need 3 that is an outside 
threat, Bowen or Mercer could fit the role. Don't expect this from McCarty 
 His game has not changed much since his days at Kentucky.

Now I think we'd be downright stupid to trade McCarty!  He's a sparkplug
for this team and brought them back into it on Friday night.  Please,
give these young guys a chance.
Before the season started everyone said they would go nowhere this year,
now all I see are trade possibilities.  The Celtics would do better to
keep the players they have except a couple mentioned many times before,
IMO.
