Boston has lost five of its top six scorers from 1996-97. Some of the

Terms were not disclosed Friday, although Celtics general manager Chris
Wallace indicated Mills received a multiyear deal. Wallace also said the
signings would not have been possible without last week's league-wide
salary-cap increase.

New Celtics president and coach Rick Pitino continues to put his stamp on
the franchise. Of the 13 free agents who have changed teams this
off-season, the Celtics have signed five of them -- Mills, Edney, Travis
Knight, Andrew DeClercq and Tony Massenburg.

Wallace said the Celtics have 13 players under guaranteed contracts.
Outside of a trade, the team probably is finished maneuvering personnel for
the upcoming season.

"Right now we don't have great (salary cap) flexibility for the next two
years," he said. "We've added some players earlier than expected.
