i think getting rid of ew was a good thing!

i'm only disapointed that we only got 2 second rounders for him but
otherwise i think it's great.  why you may ask?  eric is a 3.5... not a
three or a four but a three point five and in this league that isn't too
good.  can't defend the quick small forwards or the big power forwards...
granted the guy can score and take it to the rack but... hey... defense
wins!  he also doesn't seem like much of a guy who can press and run,
press and run... i've never seen him fill a wing on a break... in a half
court set you can isolate him but that's all i've seem him do... albeit do
it well.

furthermore he's a fa next year and i don't think pitino wanted to deal
with the 8-10 mil negtotiations.
