Ricky, what have you done?!?

This simply cannot be true.

When Antoine came to Beantown, I was like, "Yeah, screw those triple J's in
Dallas," (then, Jason, Jimmy and Jamal), "we got ourselves the three W's,"
(Williams, Walker, Wesley).

Obviously it didn't turn out that they were quite the formidable combo I'd
optimistically expected, but still, they were the nucleus of a rebuilding
team. When Wesley's contract was up, I was seriously hoping we'd have the
opportunity to re-sign him, as he was my favourite Gang-Greener by far, but
under the circumstances this was obviously too difficult. So I cried a bit,
and Weser's was gone, but I understood that there was little the C's could
do to keep him.

Where is the logic in this move? We lose a consistent performer, and now
have a bit of extra cash, with very few players to choose from, and two
picks which are unlikely to get a place on next years roster. Sure, we'll
have more money for next years FA bonanza, but how much more? Was it really
worth it?
